Anyone want a slightly messed up, nervous ex- terrorist? Just like when the British sent criminals to their colonies centuries ago, Obama is trying the same trick with his Guantanamo Bay “no longer” terrorists (must have been reading his history books!). Yep, Britain and Australia seem to be the perfect dumping grounds for the waterboarded, tortured, sleep deprived and slightly deaf prisoners of the “War on Terror”. Hmm, I am all for people making a new start, but please, aren’t they just a little pissed off with the western world at the moment? And I am thinking assimilating them into our society, which they must totally despise now, sounds a tad stupid, people! Well, I suppose one thing is for certain, they won’t bother you with loud music! Tony Blair’s former attorney general Lord Goldsmith said he entirely understands the argument which says: “Look, this is a mess which was created by the Bush administration. It was a misguided policy which has spectacularly backfired. They need to clear up the mess”. Many of the Guantanamo Bay residents, who no longer pose a threat but are not welcome back home, would be considered asylum seekers and thus be in line for hand-outs (of course). Oh and imagine the cost of therapy (fear of orange for starters!). If it was me I would let them live next door to George W, get an agent, write a book, make it into a feature and live happily ever after.Oh but that is only in America, I forgot!
