Ugh, into the sea and start again, no one will ever know!
Nice work boys. Greek fishermen, trawling their nets in the Agean Sea between Kos and Kalymnos, caught themselves a 2,200 year old bronze statue of a horsemen. The corroded rider wearing a short tunic, armor breast plateĀ and holding a sword was in a pretty bad state but a bit of spit and polish by the Museum staff should be able to shed more light on the piece. Funny if it was chucked in the sea by some temperamental 2nd BC sculptor.
Greeks out trawling?
Made my sphincter pucker.
heheheheheh!
