OK, the phones are running hot in the UK after a series of UFO sightings.Residents are coming forward claiming they have seen orange balls of light moving slowly across the night sky. Sightings have been reported from Southport to South Liverpool.Air traffic controllers have not recorded anything out of the blue on their radar but then again when have they ever? Ministry of Defence are being hush, hush too! Coastguard have bets on it being the annual Eta Aquarids meteor shower, while UFO expert John Rimmer has money on it being those Chinese lanterns again! Wake me when they land!

Last night 04/07/09…. Me and my partner were sitting outside looking at the clear black sky. When out of knowwhere, we both saw 5 balls of glowing orange lite go across the sky. I know they were NOT planes, they were NOT ufo’s, they were NOT shooting stars or comets. I thing 100 % that they were Some sort of meteor’s or Astroids that got though the atmosphear. They took a good 30 seconds to get across the sky and we wacthed them all fizzle out at different points across the sky. And also they were UNDER the very few clouds that were in the sky.
I am 99% sure that they are some kind of rocks from space. But is was totally amazing to watch.
Lucky you, I’d love to have seen it. Space has me intrigued right down to the worm holes/ Spooky old place .
Me too, Ann. I think I watch every space special on the tube.
Once saw a brilliant blue light dip through some clouds, then go back up, leaving the clouds glowing until it disappeared in the distance. Military said it was a flare . . . I popped flares in Nam, and that wasn’t no flare. I think it might have been Dick Cheney.
