WTF, a former psychiatric aide trainee at Allentown State Hospital has admitted to giving one of the patients nails, so she could teacher her how to swallow them! Yes, swallow them! Athena Marie Sidlar, who says she suffers from bipolar disorder, admitted to giving the patient the nails (4 of which had to be removed from the patient’s stomach). Ms Sidler’s attorney said that she doesn’t do it for kicks but she is simply sick! Ya think? Evidently she spent a lot of time showing the patient how to swallow not only nails but other metal objects.
Psst Hmm, how did she get a job there in the first place?

OMG! i just read about that story. the girl made to eat them was only 18!…God help anyone who is dependent on others for their care…i’ve seen and heard a lot of bad stuff that goes on by some pretty screwed up people. this “nurse” had this weird OCD where she swallowed nails and metal objects regularly. good grief!~
