Oh seriously folks, if you can’t wake up a relative don’t be taking him to the morgue unless you are absolutely sure he’s dead. No really people! The poor South African man eventually woke up and began screaming when he released where he was, resulting in several morgue workers running for their lives thinking he was a ghost.

My friend ‘Noseycow’ who originally shared most of the writing on Madhatters with me suffers from narcolepsy and cataplexy has described to me the horror of being aware of all that is happening around her when she’s having an attack but being unable to move any muscles to convey this to people.
I’m not sure if it’s still there, but there was a long 3-part documentary on Youtube about a woman in Germany (I think) who had 3 times been pronounced dead and later awoke to find herself in a morgue.
I suspect this S.African gentleman also suffers from narcolepsy/cataplexy.

Poor guy probably had a ‘little’ policy just waaaiting to be paid out …. they were kind of hoping he wouldn’t wake up.
