Oh for crying out loud, a 48 year old millionaire has adopted his 42 year old girlfriend in an attempt to protect his fortune after he was involved in a DUI accident where a 23 year old student died. John Goodman (not the actor) is using his newly aquired daughter to protect his assets from being swallowed up in the wrongful death lawsuit. Mr Goodman allegedly ran a stop sign , crashed his Bentley into Scott Wilson’s car and then fled the scene while Mr Wilson’s car sunk into a canal. Mr Goodman did not ring 911 for an hour during which time Scott drowned. It was later discivered Mr Goodman’s blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit. Despite Mr Goodman having two biological kids, they are under 35 and can’t touch the family trust fund but girlfriend, now daughter, can. Ah, but either way Mr Goodman is facing 30 years in prison which will make him a very old man by the time he gets out. Good lucky tracking daughter down then…. I’m just saying.
He’ll probably be killed or worse in prison at least.
His name is John Goodman so when I first saw the news report I thought….
Just wait until he has to figure out how to marry his daughter.
