Don’t Forget To Pack Your Teddy

Grow Up!

Oh for crying out loud, according to a recent survey it seems that 35% of adults in Britain still sleep with their teddy bears. Nearly half are men and one in ten single men will hide their bear from their girlfriends. Oh stop sniggering married men, 14% of you guys hide your teddy from family and friends. The average age of these teddies are 27 years old. Oh and did I happen to mention 25% of males participating in the survey said they took their teddy with them on business trips. Hmm, so the big question on everyone’s lips is …Do you sleep with your  teddy bear, Duncan?

  1. My wife sleeps with a “bear”

  2. I had a bear that was 23yrs old that I still slept with till our new puppy discovered she could get on the bed. Destuffing occurred very rapidly with her new found toy. My awesome hubby bought me a new Eeyore stuffy to sleep with and the puppy was taught immediately that this was mommies. Now she sleeps with it when I’m not in bed.
Yes…I take it on vacation..can’t sleep without it. But then again..I am a girl..Hubby doesn’t have one unless he’s been hiding it from me all these years.

  3. I never sleep with Teddy anymore but I still have one you know, and he is forty five years old so how about that for some Teddy Bear wickedness Loon? :)

I sleep with my wife’s teddy, when she wears it to bed. If she doesn’t it’s even better!

  5. I ripped Teddy’s head of when I was 2 years old and replaced him with Ken Doll….I never understood the concept of sleeping with stuffed animals……next…

  6. Technically, I’m not a teddy bear.

  7. All right, I admit it

Well technically, Mr Tiggles is not my teddy

but while I’m at work he shares my bed with Mr Golly (a stuffed Robertson Gollywog that you can no longer buy now owing to it being politically incorrect)

What Mr Tiggles and Mr Golly get up to while I’m at work is their business – we operate a ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ policy here – I draw the line though at them being anywhere near the bed when I’m in it !!!
