That Kennedy curse has reared its ugly head again with the death of Mary Kennedy (52), Robert F Kennedy Jr’s estranged wife. Mary Kennedy, who had been struggling with alcohol and finacial issues, split with RFK jr in 2010. Mary Kennedy leaves behind 4 children. Very sad.

There has to be a curse I almost think.
And that goddamned Ted Kennedy is still alive, and still a U.S. Senator. Why is it that the worst people usually outlive the best?
I stand corrected: Ted is dead. But he still outlived his great brothers, John and Robert–not to mention other, better members of the Kennedy family.
Much of their misfortune was brought upon by overindulgence and position. Too much of a good thing. If they led the kind of lives that we lead they’d all still be around, well maybe not the older ones because they’d have died of other ailments.
I think it’s genetic (and contagious if married to the genome)…
