Seven months ago the Franklin dam on the Harpeth River was demolished so that the river could free flow. Now the Franklin mayor wants the government to finance a $1.4 million feasibility study to see whether they should build a …. wait for it….new dam. The fear of flooding will do that to ya!!!!

Our town has spent about the same amount of money pondering whether street scaping is a viable idea. We may lose 5 car spots but it’s taken a huge amount of $$$$ to work this out. Yeah go ahead why not indeed. This is where the ratepayers $$ goes.
