Go Katie!!!

Seems some locals in Embden have a problem with Katie Crotch Road and have tried unsuccessfully to change its name. As you can imagine the council is constantly replacing the sign due to theft but locals voted to keep it in its original form. Oh boy, of course their are rumors and myths about how the road got its name but my fav would have to be  that it was named after a woman called Katie who use to sit on the porch wearing no undies! Must have been something to have a road named after it.

WTF, now that Negrohead Mountain has had a successful name change a devout Christian , Arthur Mijares, wants to have Mt Diablo (devil in Spanish) changed to Mt Reagan (Nancy’s hubby). Hmm, some would argue what’s the difference? OK, but here’s the killer, during his prayer time Mijares said “Lord, they’re going to think I’m a loon.” Blahahaha a loon? Not so friggin fast Mister, you aren’t a loon until I say you’re a loon! Anywho, he may have God on his side but it ain’t going to be so easy to convince the general public who are none too pleased with the proposal, if the amount of members of the “People Against Renaming Mt Diablo” on Facebook are anything to go by.Good luck with that!
