Brahman The Barman

Dude it’s your shout! Personally I would have called this a Bull Bar but #5 is Brahman the Barman and it was created by artist Jenny Sanderson. Margaret River Hotel would be mad not to bid for him, he has the potential to go iconic just like the hotel (plus it’s free labor!).  The Margaret River hotel was built in 1936 by Bernard McKeown and was the first public house in the area. Despite no longer offering a shoe shining service the hotel is a much loved local landmark and is right in the heart of town….no bull!

Jenny Sanderson – A unique challenge in fiberglass medium & bubbling beer! As a local artist it excites me to have fun with art with the opportunity of reaching a global audience “on the back of a cow.”

Would you like a Mooheys?

He works hard for his moo-ney!

Community Service Announcement – All the cows will be auctioned off on July the 10th, 2010. Money raised will be going to several fantastic Western Australian charities and non profit organizations including Telethon, Give Me Five For Kids, Breast Cancer Foundation WA, Starlight Foundation, Jewel and Lake Cave Conservation Projects, Arts Margaret River and Asthma Foundation of WA. If you are absolutely smittened with one of these cows and can picture it in your garden or office you might just want to contact or email for info on how to bid…oh and don’t forget to tell them the Friggin Loon sent ya!
