Anne Sellors Is A Legend

OMG, imagine you have a bit part in the 1984 movie Threads, about a nuclear war on the UK. It’s only a small part, which requires you to look shocked then pee your pants, but you do it, thinking, the pays good and no one will ever remember me because the scene was so short. WRONG. Anne Sellors is now an internet phenomenon thanks in part to IMDb who so kindly mentions her as the “uncredited” actress who “urinates herself” and internet users who have kept her popularity up 4,078,266%.Pure marketing genius…

Inspiring

One has only to read the IMDb boards to know she is adored by many. Spadowski writes “Someone get this lady an agent, because a new Internet star is about to be born.I smell a sequel!” Another suggests she may go on to cure cancer!
So who is this enigma Anne Sellors? Who the F*** knows, but someone, either Anne Sellor herself, or a family member had the good foresight to admit she was in the film. Who could forget her two second scene …

The look!

The leak!

I bet the actor who appeared seconds before her scene wished he had the foresight! No one will ever remember him as the man on the toilet. Loser!

Missed your chance buddy!

Just didn't cut it!

Psst If you too want to piss your pants laughing check out Anne Sellors page on IMDb .

  1. great review – did the bomb kill the movie?

  2. She’s a shoo-in for the sequel: “Bobbin”

  3. Ha! The guy on the toilet is like a bottom-dwelling blogger. The same brilliant performance, without the fanfare. 🙂

I doubt Barry Hines, Karen Meagher or even Mick Jackson come close to Ms. Sellors’ Internet status.

Anne Sellors went on to become a drama teacher at Chaucer Secondary school in Sheffield. And yes, she was my drama teacher. No, she didn’t show me how to p myself. She was (and hopefully still is) a wicked teacher. Glad to see she’d getting some credit 🙂

Hi Anne Sellors from Chaucer school did pass away this week but strangely she isn’t the same Anne Sellors in this film! She would have loved to have known you held her in high regard as your teacher. (I’m one of her nieces) 🙂

Hi Anne Sellors from Chaucer school did pass away this week but they must have mixed up the extra’s names in this film as although she was in it she wasn’t this lady! She would have loved to have known you held her in high regard as your teacher. (I’m one of her nieces) 🙂

I saw Anne’s notice in the Sheffield Star on Saturday. Please accept my condolences. She was my form teacher for a few years at Chaucer (our form room was the drama room) and I held her in very high regard. I also went back and helped her out with the many productions she did once I’d left. A very nice lady indeed and I often wondered about the IMDB error!
