Chihuahua vs Great Horned Owl

Want a piece of me?

Chico is one damn lucky Chihuahua and must be eternal grateful to his owner for dressing  him in his doggy jacket or he may have ended up owl bait. George Kalomiris was walking his 4lb pooch in Illinois when a friggin great horned owl swooped down and attempted to take off with Chico. Fortunately the owl couldn’t get a really good grip, thanks to the slippery doggy jacket and failed to lift the shocked Chihuahua too far off the ground. Meanwhile Mr Kalomiris was hanging tightly to the lead. In the end Chico suffered only a few scratches and bruises plus a big friggin fear of the dark.

In cases like this, I almost always root for the bird of prey. Especially when the pet in question is a rat-dog. A rat-dog is defined as a dog small enough to fit in a woman’s purse. Most rat-dogs are really vicious, territorial little balls of vitriolic vehemence and will bite you whenever they can on account of never freakin’ being allowed to run on the ground like dogs, fer cryin’ out loud. Rich women who air-kiss acquaintances tote ’em around like hairy infants or somethin’. The little demons would rip yer face clean off if they had the capability of exerting sufficient jaw pressure.
It’s all about the owls! I hope he gets his prey next time around.

  3. As big as those little dogs think they are I’m suprised it didn’t kick the owl’s ass.
