A Dingo Took My Sleeping Bag

I was cold!!!!

A teenage girl woke up to discover  she was being dragged  from her family caravan by a dingo. The dingo had latched onto her  sleeping bag and was pulling her into the night. Hmm, my advice is, sleep with one eye open and the caravan door closed when camping in the Northern Territory.

Psst Gee, if you thought Lindy had a hard time convincing people a dingo took her baby imagine this family…a dingo took my 13 year old and her sleeping bag!!!!

  1. That must have been one big dingo.

  2. They are big strong dogs more than capable of this. My five kilo dog pulls me uphills and some of these dogs are 20 plus kilo.

This is happening all over the world, more people than ever before, less natural habitat for animals than ever before. Hyenas are another example. In the last twenty years, they’ve become one of the deadliest animals on the planet. Normally scavengers, they’ve been killing and eating children in Africa, because their normal foodsources are diminishing, and more people are having to move into their territory.

  4. Hmm don’t think it’s quite the same thing. We share our MASSIVE desert with the Dingos and they are scavengers too.

  5. This is becoming more & more common. I heard that a platypus dragged off a Landcruiser, with 5 fishermen in it, into a nearby river recently…

  6. Oh goodness golly gosh. This was just on the radio news. Right this moment. But I read it here 1st.

  7. Don’t you domesticate those things?

  8. A sleeping bag is just take-out for an animal. In Glacier Park, the bears used to raid the dumpsters on a regular basis back in the 70s. One day a group of teenage girls decided to sleep out next to the dumpsters in sleeping bags. Now those dumpsters were filled with bagged garbage that the bears normally ripped open to eat. What do you suppose happened to those teenage girls? Yep.

  9. what’s the matter with these people… do they think it was “just a movie. It’ll never happen to me?!?!?”

It could have been worse, it could have been a
Vampire or naughty Zombie in the woods 🙂 🙂
Actually it could even have been a UFO Alien
with a big ray gun and a pair of spheres wobbling
around but hey at least she was safe… and the
Dingo didn’t swipe her sleeping bag either so a
    good result 🙂 lmao

  11. Poor cold Dingo, it does get a little chilly in NT at night. There is an idea, we should install a dingo proof lock on caravans 🙂
