The two white Afrikaner sculptors who created a 9m bronze statue of Nelson Mandela are in big doodah after it was discovered they had carved a little rabbit inside Mandela’s ear.The weenie bunny is depicted sitting on it’s haunches with one floppy ear.Seems the South African government who had no idea what the sculptor’s had done,  think a rabbit in Mandela’s ear is disrespectful and belittling. One official said it was like  “depicting U.S. President Barack Obama with a mouse in his nose.”

Want sauce with that?

  1. WHITE Afrikaaners?…the pits of the planet….our police force in Australia is made up of these animals after they ran away from South Afrika when Mandela was brain…no feeling…no respect…just trash….ok, I’m done.

  2. Perhaps a wombat would have been better?

  3. I know I hade a tongue in my ear one time.
I liked to have never got the woman to take it out.
Or was it to keep it in there.
Not sure but the wife came along and that was that.
    tongue gone forever

  4. At least it wasn’t a dust bunny …just saying

  5. I thought it was a hare, I mean a hair 🙂 lol

  6. Can;t they take a joke. I bet Nelson woulda thought it was funny.

  7. Is there some reason for this?

  8. Artist leaving is mark. Pro Art does DNA others, do rabbits

  9. Oops that should be Pro Hart does DNA, Sticky keys today!!! Artists leave their mark on their work and apparently this particular guy had a thing about rabbits as did the creator of Bunnykins for babies. If you even get the chance to pick up a piece of Bunnykins ware check out the bottom and you will see two rabbits shagging. Not really appropriate lol
