Project Semicolon

semicolonIf you happen across someone with a semicolon tatt they are more that likely part of the growing number of people using the symbol to highlight the struggles of mental illness. The online group behind the  movement say they are dedicated to “presenting hope and love to those who are struggling with depression, suicide, addiction and self-injury.”

“A semicolon is used when an author could’ve chosen to end their sentence, but chose not to. The author is you and the sentence is your life;”

Really love the sentiment but does it have to be visible to the whole world and do we really need tatts to highlight our support of such a struggle. What else are we going to need tattoos for?
