You are so friggin bored that you decide to post “I’m trying to remain positive and centered but, truthfully, I’m dying from boredom.” on your Facebook page. All well and good if you aren’t in court and on jury duty. That’s a $1000 fine and a mistrial right there. Awks. The juror also posted “God help me the other jurors don’t trust the police and want to outright dismiss the confessions as well as the majority of the rest of the evidence. Tomorrow is going to be a very difficult day.” Insert eye roll anywhere you see fit, loons.

Friggin Jury Duty

Picture this, you are on a jury for a burglary case when your credit cards go missing.You later discover another juror has nicked them and gone on a shopping spree purchasing shoes and clothes from stores near the courthouse. Damn! Jennifer Mercado has pleaded not guilty to stealing fellow juror John Postrk’s plastic. Hmm, oh well, now she gets to see both sides of the legal system.

Trial Aborted Because of Aroused Juror

OK, here’s the thing sexually aroused juror, don’t be wearing no condom to court or the friggin trial will be aborted. Oh dear, it is alleged an elderly man who was on the jury of a sexual abuse trial in Auckland has admitted he became sexually aroused listening to the victim’s evidence. In an attempt to cope he told another member of the jury he wore a condom in the courtroom. When the judge got wind of this she aborted the case. Seriously creepy!
