Osama’s Bin Buried

Osama Bin Laden needs a sea burial like he needs a hole in his head! Yep, Osama  is swimming with the fishes after being given a waterboarding  burial. In accordance with Islamic tradition they had 24 hours to bury the  terrorist so not wanting his burial place to become a shrine the US forces decided to dump him in the ocean. Fish fodder… how fitting but how scary. I can’t see the Islamic world taking to kindly to this.

Tsunami Dog Reunited With Owner

OMG, grab your Kleenex again loons. Remember the pooch who survived living on a roof in the sea for 3 weeks after surviving the Japanese earthquake? Well, she’s been reunited with her owner. Ban, the two year old pooch, evidently barked and then leaped into the arms of her owner during the tearful reunion.

Miracle Dog Survives Tsunami

Kleenex alert loons. OMG , we have a miracle. This Friday a Japan Coast Guard Elite Rescue Unit rescued a dog found adrift on a roof at sea. Yes, the pooch had been floating around the sea since the tsunami hit Japan on March 11th. The rescue unit, nicknamed “sea monkeys”, originally attempted to save the dog by helicopter but the noise scared the living daylights out of it, so they sent a boat instead.  The dog, who was wearing a collar, was extremely friendly (I would be too if I was rescued from sea) and happy to chomp down on biscuits and sausages ( I, not so much). No one is quite sure if the dog spent the entire three weeks adrift  but they do know one thing… its a friggin miracle.

Blue Budgie Down

Budgie found miles out to seaGeez, there could be nothing worse than having your budgie blown out to sea ? Poor little directionless bird escaped from his aviary and flew miles out to sea (helped along by a healthy gale). Having exhausted his flapping power, he plummeted into the wild choppy sea. It’s wee legs treading  water , it’s  little heart pumping a million miles an hour, waves lapping at his feathers, fish nibbling at his toes, while all the while hungry seagulls circled overhead.Lucky for this little  budgie a diving group spotted him and plucked him from the angry waters. Hmm, with all the media attention it didn’t take long for his owner to recognise him in the local paper despite the fact he had been renamed Captain!
